RN Cardiac Rehabilitation

• Department:  Cardiac Rehab / Radiology PRN Coverage
• Schedule:  Day Shift - PRN
• Hospital:   UAB St Vincent's One Nineteen

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

• Implement and monitor patient's on telemetry while excising;  post cardiac event..
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Facilitate patient moving into a healthier life style .

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS and ACLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Cardiac experience required, irregular rhythm's must be identified and managed promptly & correctly.
