Financial Reporting Manager

The Financial Reporting Manager oversees the preparation, accuracy, and integrity of financial reporting
packages. This role is responsible for complex financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of
key performance metrics to drive operational and financial excellence. Responsible for compiling and
analyzing data from financial systems to address specific questions, concerns and requests.

1. Manages reporting requirements for external stakeholders, including auditors, lenders, and
regulatory bodies.
2. Manages the preparation and timely delivery of all financial reporting packages (annually, quarterly,
monthly) for senior leadership.
3. Ensures data integrity and consistency across financial and operational reporting systems.
4. Prepares and reviews footnotes, disclosures, and supporting schedules for financial reports.
5. Responsible for producing monthly and quarterly statistical data in support of month-end close and
compliance reporting.
6. Presents complex financial concepts in a clear, concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Participates in preparation, consolidation, and analysis of annual operating budget.
8. Contributes to the monitoring of financial performance, conducting organization-wide performance
improvement activities, and the maintenance of reasonable and appropriate financial plans and
forecasts.
9. Conducts and documents complex financial analysis and is responsible for interpretation of
requests for analysis.
10. Compiles and analyzes data from financial and budgeting systems.
11. Partners with operational and clinical leaders to develop financial pro formas to evaluate physician
practice expansion, new service lines, and capital investments.
12. Develops methodologies to prepare reports to address specific questions, concerns and request for
information presented by senior leadership.
13. Contributes to continuous improvement within the finance team.
14. Works in collaboration with the finance team to ensure coordination for major projects and system
initiatives.
15. Coordinates special reporting as needed.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Licenses / Certifications / Registration:

• CPA professional designation highly preferred.

Education: 

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field required.
• Five (5) years of progressive financial analysis experience required, with at least two (2) years in healthcare preferred.
• Two (2) years of leadership experience preferred.
• Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. Experience with healthcare financial systems, reimbursement models, and payer contracts strongly desired.
