What You Will Do

Manage the daily operations of the security department.

  • Assign responsibilities and tasks to support department function.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and policies/procedures.
  • Monitor and follow up on customer complaints and investigations.
  • Manage and coach staff. Direct, prioritize and make daily adjustments to shift assignments and security deployment as necessary.
  • Assist the Director of Security with developing both operational and capital budgets.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Drivers License credentialed from the Alabama Department of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Security Guard preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative
    leadership experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
