Position Overview

  • Department: Patient Service ANC
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
  • Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East

What You Will Do

Manage activities and flow of work for the assigned clinical support area.

  • Develop, implement and evaluate program services and initiatives.
  • Manage all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
  • Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to insure compliance with budget guidelines.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific
    experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

Licensed Registered Nurse preferred
