Leads reimbursement services function of the health system. To monitor revenue and cash flow integrity
through a structured process that contributes to the capture, management, collection and reporting of
patient service revenue across the organization. To provide support and calculation for valuation of
accounts receivable including actual, budgeted, and projected amounts.
Provides support to Net Revenue Management Leadership for their region in evaluating and performing
accounts receivable valuation and third party reimbursement for their region.
1. Leads, manages and directs key initiatives, programs, departments or priorities within the
Net Revenue Management Center of Excellence to deliver on defined goals.
2. Accounts for and contribute to operational planning, coordination and decision-making.
3. Standardizes models and methodologies related to third party settlements to provide
consistency in reporting.
4. Develops, implements and maintains policies, processes, and systems to maximize third
party reimbursement, improve performance and ensure compliance.
5. Prepares Medicare and Medicaid hospital cost reports and provides support upon audit.
6. Oversees cash posting related to Medicare & State plan payments.
7. Performs the calculations of accounts receivable valuation and also evaluates monthly
settlements of third-party reimbursement in addition to filing annual Medicare and Medicaid
cost reports.
8. Provides input on goals with focus upon departmental, project or programmatic level.
9. Provides Medicare Resident reporting.
10. Prepares and/or reviews Retro models.
11. Develops work plans to successfully achieve objectives and goals.
12. Works collaboratively with other departments related to net revenue management activities.
13. Supervises people, programs or projects and is directly involved in day-to-day operations.
14. Adheres to standard application of Revenue Cycle Analytics valuation, manages the
application of decisions regarding any valuation adjustments.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
