Position Overview

  • Department: General Finance 
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Work Location: Daniel Building

What You Will Do

Directs accounting activities and resources.

  • Supervises preparation of corporate financial statements, reports and audits and reviews for accuracy.
  • Monitors development of data and entries to general ledger, accounts payable and payroll.
  • Performs detailed analysis of financial information. Analyzes projections and details variances. Assists management with understanding and analyzing financial reports and developing cost savings measures.
  • Coordinates preparation and submission of quarterly reporting. Ensures compliance with internal financial requirements as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Develops, implements and maintains general accounting systems and controls ensuring best practice standards across the institution and in line with corporate guidance.

 

What You Will Need

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

  • Accountant licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed preferred.

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of six (6) years of related experience required. Four (4) years of leadership experience preferred. Master's degree in a related field preferred.
